Get the best of both worlds! A sub account that earns a higher rate of interest like a Certificate of Deposit, but it doesn't lock access to your money.
A money market account is restricted to no more than six withdrawals a month. You may have checks printed for your money market account if you wish, but withdrawals must be at least $500 each. The interest rate earned is dependant upon the account balance. A $1,000.00 deposit is required to open the money market and no interest is paid on balances less than $2,500.00.
